Shuttle transportation
Participants arriving by air will land at Cape Town International Airport. On Sunday 16 January 2005 there will be a shuttle service available to bring delegates from the airport to Stellenbosch. The fare will be R50.00 per person for a one-way ticket. Please have the exact cash in hand to pay the driver! On Thursday 20 January 2005 there will likewise be a shuttle service from Stellenbosch to the airport.
To coordinate the running of the shuttle buses it is, however, important for the Organising Committee to know when delegates will be arriving. If you require transport from and to the airport we request that you please notify Ms Lynnette Eygelaar (lle@sun.ac.za) as soon as possible of your flight schedule (number of persons, arrival time on Sunday, departure time on Thursday).
Accommodation
For participants who will not be making use of the University Residence accommodation, a list of hotel and guest house accommodation options is available from the Stellenbosch Tourism website. They also offer a booking service.
Conference venue
The conference will be held on the Stellenbosch University main campus. For participants making their own travel arrangements, a campus map can be found here:
Registration will take place in the "Neelsie" student centre on Sunday afternoon (building number 5, map reference E9).
